A growing and patient-focused allied health team is seeking a dedicated Accredited Exercise Physiologist (AEP) to join their supportive environment. The clinic places high value on genuine patient care, thorough assessments, and evidence-based treatment tailored to individual needs.
About the Role
You will work across a diverse caseload including musculoskeletal rehabilitation, chronic pain, and functional improvement. The primary patient group includes DVA with exposure to private, EPC, WorkCover, NDIS, and other referral pathways.
The ideal clinician is motivated, communicative, and able to build strong rapport while delivering high-quality clinical outcomes. You will be supported by an interdisciplinary team and encouraged to contribute to service improvement and growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive assessments and evidence-based exercise interventions
- Build strong rapport and achieve shared treatment goals with patients
- Manage a varied caseload across private, EPC, WorkCover, and NDIS
- Maintain accurate clinical notes and communication with referrers
- Support organic caseload growth through positive patient experiences
- Participate in occasional community or health-promotion activities
Job Experience
Essential:
- ESSA-accredited Exercise Physiologist (AEP)
- Current CPR, First Aid, and professional insurances
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Strong commitment to evidence-based practice and patient-centred care
Desirable:
- Experience in private practice or musculoskeletal rehab
- Familiarity with Halaxy or similar clinical software
- Understanding of DVA, EPC, and third-party billing protocols
